I love the current trend for pineapples to feature in home decor. That is why I have curated this stunning collection of vintage pineapple plant and fruit drawings and illustrations to download.
I confess that I am swayed by beautiful and exciting packaging; as for fruits, I think the pineapple comes in the most majestic packaging—the lovely golden armoured skin was topped with a crown of thick green leaves.
The good looks of the pineapple fruit are probably why pineapple plant drawings and prints are so popular in home decor.
Another reason will also be that pineapples are a symbol for welcome and hospitality. That is why in architecture, pineapple figures are a decorative element. Usually, in the form of plaster or carved wood, pineapples images occur in finials, pendants and door knockers.
